Hardware

Well that was a fun one to make!
I started off with the sketch from Sketch Saturday and knew I wanted to make a birthday card for a friend of my son

As this is a card for a boy I thought I'd go with a blue theme, although the neutral pallette might have got a small look in too!  So am also entering it into Fussy and Fancy's Feeling Blue challenge, and CASual Friday's Winter Blues challenge.
I'm not sure if this would count as a Clean & Simple card but the challenge over at Less is More this week is to use some hardware which I don't often do, so seeing as they've given me the inspiration I'll put it in

  1. This is pushing the clean and simple parameters somewhat as there are lots of layers and NO white space, but the hardware is terrific!
It's often difficult to reconcile sketches from other challenges with our CAS challenge.
    D join us again.
    Thanks so much
